Hi, I'm Susan Harlander. I have lived in Kern County 35 years including 27 years in Bakersfield and 8 in Walker Basin on a 21-acre ranch. I am passionate about my profession as a real estate consultant. A few years back, before I obtained my real estate license my husband and I invested in rental properties. When one purchase turned horribly sour within 24 hours of closing, we felt the right thing to do was to go through with it, having to put up another $30,000 down to please the lender, after having signed closing documents. As often happens with people who go through a traumatic ordeal, I became an advocate for victims, and put my heart and soul into studying real estate, loan options and everything slightly related.
